Singer, songwiter and performer, Tristan Hawk has been developing a solo folk project since childhood, first on ukulele and then on folk guitar, composing and shaping his songs on his own.

Alone on stage, Tristan Hawk explores a folk music guided by sound color  : chord varations, unique ways of playing and energetic rhythms shape tracks designed to evolve from one show to another, in a fully embraced one-man band format.

His influences are numerous and can be felt in his writing as well as in his approach to live performance. The connection between folk and Celtic sounds take a special place in his project, both in rhythmic choices and in the structure of the songs.

Tristan does not hesitate to move away from classical structures to develop a freer vision of music, while maintaining a search for accessibility.

Having not received a formal musical training, he developed a personal way to learn music, gradually integrating the necessary tools for his practice. This intuitive and progressive approach, fosters a unique soundscape, where harmonic experimentation and the exploration of sonic colors play a vital role.

Following the release of his debut album in January 2024, Tristan Hawk received support from the press and local radio stations in France, including NRJ Niort, Ici Poitou, and La Nouvelle République. He has performed at numerous cultural venues, festivals, and community events such as Le Camji music hall, La Sirène music hall, Les Expressifs Festival, Rock en Sèvre Festival, Mélusik, and the big stage of Les Jeudis Niortais Festival. Tristan was invited to open for The Celtic Social Club, last june at Le Confort Moderne music hall in Poitiers. He's now promoting his upcoming EP "Notes to Yourself" scheduled on November 28th, and also released a live EP last march plus a new single "The Thought of You" from his new record.

To mark the release of his new EP, “Notes to Yourself”, on 28 November 2026, Tristan will be supporting the Celtic Social Club once again at Le Camji on November 27th !
